About Book

Genre - New Adult Paranormal Romance.

P.J. Stone is a Seer who saw too little, too late.

After choosing a mate, P.J. hoped she'd have time to enjoy her love life. But with everything changing so quickly and major secrets revealed, who knows what the future will bring?

My Thoughts

I read this book first not realizing it was book 2 in the series – so I am reviewing the book based on it as if it were a stand alone – come back later for my review of book 1.

I can’t imagine a world with more than one race living in it other than humans. I know there are people that believe in aliens, I have always had the “if I see it I will believe it” mentality. But in Broken Gates they share earth with dragons and the feared and dreaded raiders. What is really cool though is their lives are just like ours. Love, hurt, joy, sadness, turmoil, drama and more drama.
The Raiders have invaded the world of the humans and dragons and slowly trying to take over and this is threatening the world of the dragons.
Paige is going through some very tumultuous times right now as she learns of huge changes in her life, all while being pulled in two directions. She continues to have these visions of a woman and a man. The man apparently deeply in love with the woman, and the woman saddened by a quest the man completed at her request. But there is a twist – there is always a twist. Paige has to find this woman, its important to her, for her future, her destiny and that of her fellow dragons. With the help of some friends she sets out to do just that.
After finding this woman and learning of her destiny and who she really is she then sets out on her own following directions from the woman she found in order to try and save her people from the raiders. Many things happen along the way which really have Paige going through so many roller coaster type emotions. But she learns through it all to be strong and rely on herself and not others.
There is absolutely no slowing down in this book or for Paige. She is thrown into so many directions. Torn between a deep and passionate love for one man and a close bond and love to another man. Who will she choose, the outcome of something between all three will be her decision. She has a tough path ahead of her and I couldn't even imagine being in her shoes but man am I impressed how she chooses and the outcome of her choice.

This isn't my normal type of book to read but I really am glad I chose to read it. I loved the pull between Kohl and Bryn with Paige in the middle. But the ending wow talk about a shocker so not what I was expecting I was crying and now I can't wait for book three in the trilogy.

Book #1
