My Thoughts and Review

This was a fun light read. I found it to be humorous, sensual and a bit of mystery add to the mix. Valentine is a gift pianist but, of late having trouble with his hands. The doctor suggests Val take a rest from playing so he decides to visit his estate that he won in a card game. While there he is rebuilding the place little by little trying not to overdo it with his hands as they need healing. He meets Ellen Markham and impoverished widow that has a helping hand in trying to nurse his hands back to life. She has a knack for healing balms that she uses on his hands to easy there pain.

They have a bit of fun enjoying each other company ,picnics, rest's under a big oak tree just spending time with each other getting to know one another sharing things about themselves and slowly falling in love.Valentine or Ellen have neglected though to let each how that Val is the Duke of Moreland's son and her a Baroness.

The mystery begins when things start to happen when repairing the buildings . Unexplained accidents.Who is trying to hurt Val and why? And Ellen know who is up to this mishaps but, not saying anything as she is being blackmailed.Val's friends and family come to the rescue. Together they will unsolved the mystery and get to the bottom of Ellen's involvement.

These two make they perfect couple both needing each other without really knowing it. Both are good people fun and loving & caring and meant to be together. They just need to overcome the past.

Ive enjoyed reading Grace Burrow's books and I have read them all since finding her .They are great fun romances ! This is a recommended read for all.One of those warm and fuzzy & cozy romances that you just lie in bed under the covers and enjoy....
