This book took you for quite the ride. Thought I might lose track of everything going on with the author  who kept going back in time ever other chapter.Its a book you need to pay attention to details as the are unraveling the mystery from the beginning . So many twists and turns. Story revolves around a midwife and  her loving friends. Noelle the midwife commits suicide and none of her friends know why they never thought she was acting any different than so was she was the kid of person off key anyway. Her friends set out to find out why she committed such a thing as they are devastated by what has happened to there friend.The story starts from her(Noelle) growing up and you learn as there is part of Noelle as she is telling her story as well that you never really know a person she had so many secrets that a person who could shoulder and never have your closest friends even know them. With her friends digging they learn she has committed suicide or think they do as they think is had to do with some kind of crime that she committed while being a midwife and she could no longer carry that secret around.These friends go on a emotional journey to right and wrong, learn things about there friend they never new and bonding and developing a stronger friendship than ever as there are hardships coming and you are going to be so surprised to see how this mystery works out as the author has you guessing to the very end how things that will work out. What a surprise ending...
